Hello, my name is Elia Martinez and I am LAgeek. Before I was a 'geek', I was a traditional artist, working mostly with oils and pastels. Then I met my Apple computer and LAgeek was born.

I soon learned HTML and the World Wide Web became my new canvas. That was back in 1995 and life has never been the same.

Why the LAgeek name? I love Los Angeles and I love using technology to create and showcase my work. Many of my heroes are the inventor/engineer/scientist/computer programmer types. You know, geeks!

Well, I am a 'wanna' be geek and the internet provides an opportunity to share my passion for art and technology, and the computer is an incredible tool that makes it all possible.
